HOME OF THE BLACK WOMEN ENTREPRENEURSHIP HUB (BWEH) AND BLACK YOUTH HUB (BYH)
The Black Women Entrepreneurship Hub (BWEH) include a Black Women Business Incubator and Accelerator (BWIA) as well as a supportive entrepreneurial ecosystem. Our supportive services including entrepreneurship education, mentorship, access to funding and networks as well as daycare services in a safe, culturally relevant, and child-friendly space that also offers programming outside of peak caregiving times.
We support ACB and Immigrant Women in obtaining employment opportunities within their field. We advance ACB in non-traditional occupations in the trades and in obtaining apprenticeship opportunities.
We support the ACB and Newcomer women and children to find affordable housing by partnering with providers and developers of affordable housing and developing affordable housing.
ACB and Newcomer women and children
experience disproportionately higher levels of homelessness and poor housing.
We believe all women have the right to safe and affordable permanent housing. Without a safe home, women and girls live at risk with a myriad of financial, physical, emotional, mental and physical consequences.
Our community is full of people who want to help. We work to help ACB Women and Newcomers to obtain as well as become providers of goods and services and connect with the people who need them. Come connect in new ways.
